Our Refinishing Process

Sanding

Using state-of-the-art equipment, we carefully sand away the old finish and any surface imperfections, revealing the fresh, untouched wood beneath. We can also single out any damaged boards that need to be replaced during this time.

Staining (Optional)

If you desire a new look or want to change the color of your athletic floors, we offer a wide range of stain options to suit your preferences.

Refinishing

Once the sanding is finished and desired color is achieved, we apply sealer and the floor is screened between each coat. We then paint the lines and logos and once dry, we apply two coats of finish as an added layer of protection.

Final Touches

We carefully inspect the floors to ensure a flawless finish, and instruct the client on recommended indoor temperature and humidity levels to insure proper drying.
